Signs of an infection of the upper urinary tract include fever, chills, side and low back pain, and nausea or vomiting <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Symptoms<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A kidney stone may not cause symptoms until it moves around within your kidney or passes into your ureter \u2014 the tube connecting the kidney and bladder.
