Unisa academic does it again!

Pat-Ngulube_bodyRecently appointed member and chairperson of the National Archives Advisory Council, Unisa’s Prof Pat Ngulube, from the College of Graduate Studies, has now been appointed a senior board member on the Board of the Mixed Methods International Research Association (MMIRA).

MMIRA is a professional association created to promote the development of an international and interdisciplinary mixed methods research community.

Patrick Ngulube (PhD) is a National Research Foundation (NRF) C1-rated researcher in Records and Archives. He is a Professor in the Department of Interdisciplinary Research and Postgraduate Studies at Unisa.

His area of specialisation is Information Science and his research interests are indigenous knowledge systems, knowledge management, records management, e-government, the preservation of access to information, and research methodology.

Ngulube has served in various portfolios within the East and Southern Africa Regional Branch of the International Council on Archives (ESARBICA). He has published scholarly articles in field methods with a specific focus on mixed methods research and indigenous epistemologies.
